Preserving the stunning and complex history of the American West is an important legacy for future generations. As our lives become more and more dictated by the modern conveniences of email and cell phone communication, the richness of the relationships and the artistry of past generations deserve more than just a passing glance and a sustained preservation effort.

In the words of society founder Hattie Anderson, “It is the sacred duty of ours to collect the record of life here and hand this on to the children of the future …”

There are several ways to financially support the PPHM.

Memorials and Honorariums

A financial contribution may be given in memory or in honor of someone in your life. These gifts assist in the important work of conservation and preservation as well as continued development of great historical repositories. Each memorial or honorarium is recognized in PPHM News.

Endowment

Gifts to the Endowment Fund, along with limited state funds, sustain the museum’s operating budget. Generous contributions from many gracious community members are the life blood of PPHM. Goodnight Circle members automatically contribute $250 towards the endowment with their membership monies. With the kindness of these and other supporters, the society’s mission has been able to continue since its start in 1921.
